What happens when your account is deleted
When an account deletion request is processed, SealPoint will delete or anonymize personal information associated with the user account where possible.
This may include information such as:
User profile information
Login-related account information
Personal contact information associated with the user profile
Access to the SealPoint organization or account
After the request is processed, the user will no longer be able to sign in using that account.
Information that may be retained
Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, payment processing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, customer receipt, and completed job history purposes.
This may include records related to:
Completed jobs
Invoices
Receipts sent to customers
Payment history
Refunds, disputes, or chargebacks
Organization-level business records
Audit or compliance records
Where possible, SealPoint may remove or anonymize personal information while preserving the underlying business record.
Why some business records cannot be hard-deleted
SealPoint is used by contractors to manage real-world services, including quotes, customer approvals, scheduled work, invoices, payments, and receipts.
Hard-deleting certain historical records could affect completed job records, previously issued invoices, payment records, or receipts that were already sent to customers. These records may need to remain available so contractors and customers can reference completed work and payment history.
For this reason, account deletion does not always mean that every historical business record connected to the account can be permanently removed.
How long account deletion takes
Account deletion requests are typically processed within 48–72 hours after they are received.
If additional information is needed to verify or complete the request, the SealPoint support team may contact you.
